The cubs had a great visit to the Cummins Dairy Farm, DerryDonnell on Tuesday 18th March. All of the cubs were kitted out in their wellies and hats.
The highlight of the visit was seeing the arrival of a new calf. Everyone had a great time watching and feed the animals.
Of course some of the leaders got in on the action as well.

The Scout section had a visitor from the Army on Tuesday 11th March, Quartermaster Lane. The scouts enjoyed the the “experience” of some Army Drill and the chance to ask questions about Army life. Thank you very much to Quartermaster Lane for spending some of his valuable free time with the Athenry Scouts.

Congratulations to the 20 Athenry Cubs who attend the Galway County Cub Day in Killanin, Co. Galway on Sunday 2nd March 2014. The day started off wet and wild but turned out to be a beautiful spring day.
The cubs had a great day and participated in Backwoods Cooking, Track and Trail using Ogham Script, Biouvac Making and First Aid.
