Youth Members
We are always looking for new youth members interested in joining Athenry Scouts. A youth member is anyone under the age of 21 years, but youth members over the age of 18 can also be Scouters (Leaders). To find out what section you need to join look at the age ranges on our sections page. Once you have figured out what section you’d like to join all you need to do is go to our contacts page and contact the leader of the section your interested in joining. An important thing to note is that you can be a rover scout as well as being a leader at the same time.

For Adults
Anyone over the age of 18 can become a leader. As a leader you would help organise events come down to our weekly meeting and the like. Adults can apply to join any section they like, as a leader. If you want to become a leader with Athenry Scouts please go to our contacts page and contact our Group Leader about signing up. We’re open to anyone joining, no matter what your skill level or history, if any, with Scouting Ireland, all you need to be is willing.
