As part of the 19th Galway Athenry Group Traditions the Cubs and Scouts attended the Galway City Ice Skating rink during the Christmas Holidays. Everyone had a brilliant time including those Scouters brave enough to venture onto the Ice.

A brave group of Cubs and Scouts took to the Ice, at Galway City on Ice, Salthill on Tuesday 29th Decemeber at the early hour of 10:00. Several Scouters braved the Ice with some encouragement from the Cubs and Scouts.

Well done to all of the Scouts that attended the County Ice Skating Event on Sunday 29th November, LesiureLand, Salthill, Galway. Due to a very windy morning the event start time was postponed from 11:00 to 14:00. This time change allowed the Scouts some time to go Shopping in Galway. Everyone had a good time with no cuts or broken fingers/bones to report.
